With the arrival of new generations, new ideas arrive and with them new products. The honey we offer is one of these. The attention and respect for nature that distinguishes us, has led us to know this sector, thus choosing to practice organic beekeeping of the Tuscan supply chain. Starting from the hills of Chianti, passing through the Val di Cecina up to the mountains of Garfagnana we move our hives to uncontaminated places, guaranteeing the genuineness and naturalness of the honey. During the season our bees have managed to produce 3 types of honey: sulla, chestnut, forest honeydew.

Sulla honey

Sulla honey has a light color, straw yellow when liquid, from white to beige when crystallized. The smell is delicate and floral, reminiscent of wild herbs and white flowers of the apple and peach tree. The flavor is equally delicate, it pairs very well with cheeses, herbal teas or homemade desserts. Excellent on yogurt or rusks.

Chestnut honey

Chestnut honey is dark in colour, tending towards brown with slow crystallisation.
The smell is very strong and decisive. Its taste is bitter and not very sweet. It goes perfectly in the kitchen with different types of meat or aged cheeses. It stands out from all honeys for its extraordinary beneficial properties thanks to the high pollen content: rich in proteins, vitamins B and C and mineral salts; it has anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant properties and can be
use as a treatment for coughs and sore throats.

Honeydew honey

Honeydew honey is a very special honey since it is not a product derived from flower nectar, but from a substance produced by homoptera, insects that suck the sap of the plants they feed on. When eating it, they release this sugary substance from which the bees produce this fantastic honey. It appears as a very dark honey, tending towards black. Its consistency is very dense. The smell is strong, reminiscent of notes of
wood, caramel and licorice and matches their taste.
